Objective To investigate the effect of twin pregnancy delivery on neonatal asphyxia. Methods A total of 104 pregnant women with twin pregnancies were divided into vaginal delivery group and cesarean delivery group according to mode of delivery. The clinical data were retrospectively analyzed. Results There was no significant difference in the incidence of neonatal asphyxia between the cesarean section with head / head cesarean section and the vaginal delivery group (P> 0.05), while both head / non-head and hip / head or non-head birthing (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the asphyxia rate of newborn infants in the first childbirth between the two groups (P> 0.05), while the rate of asphyxia in neonates with second childbirth Palace group was significantly lower than vaginal delivery group (P <0.05). Conclusion The fetal position is one of the main factors that determine the mode of delivery. Choosing the correct mode of delivery for twin pregnancy will help reduce cesarean section rate and neonatal asphyxia.
