Excitatory transmission of Aβ afferent fibers plays an important role in the pathological mechanism of chronic pain, and animal experiments show that its possible mechanism is to increase the excitability of spinal dorsal horn, reduce the inhibition, especially the neuropathic pain and promote the structural reorganization. However, few reports have been reported on the threshold of Aβ fibrillation in chronic pain patients. This study was designed to examine the changes of mechanical stimulation threshold in patients with chronic neck pain (CCB) to clarify the role of Aβ in the maintenance and adaptation of the disease.
