The pseudo-random number is widely applied in digital signalprocessing.The white noise number is the basis of generating random numbers ofdesired probability distributions.The design philosophy of a programmabledigital multi-channel white noise generator is proposed in this paper.In stead ofthe conventional shift register,by using high speed static RAM and digital signalprocessing chip,the multi-channel independent white noise is generated.It satis-fies the requirement in the fields of radar,sonar and communication.The analysisof design principle,block diagram and the results of system simulation is illus-trated.
