Quantitative ultrasound bone mass (QUS) was studied in 105 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The results showed that the SOS and standard deviation (s) of patients with type 2 diabetes were significantly lower than those of healthy controls, and the SOS peak of patients with type 2 diabetes was delayed by one age group than the normal group, indicating that type II Diabetes patients with varying degrees of bone calcium and phosphorus metabolism, eventually leading to osteoporosis (osteoporosis, OP). The results also show that female patients were significantly lower than male patients with SOS, s, suggesting that women with type 2 diabetes are more susceptible to many factors, resulting in significantly lower bone mineral content. Therefore, patients with type 2 diabetes should also take the treatment of OP drugs.
