Remanufacturing, efficient and sustainable manufacturing processes focus on the development of smart and easy ways to design and prefabricate complex building components that save resources and significantly reduce construction waste. In modern architecture, complex geometry components are used in concrete or mortar building maintenance structures, partition walls, horizontal and vertical shading elements and sidewalks. Under existing methods, building elements that have all three dimensions bent can only be produced at high cost by using complex templates and highly industrialized prefabrication techniques. The aforementioned re-casting method uses a parametric system that uses mathematical algorithms to subdivide three-dimensional components into smaller parts that can be stacked into a tower.
