一、引言台湾图书馆界普遍认为,若要满足用户日趋增长的需求,一方面要不断地增加馆藏和设备,另一方面必须注意图书馆事业的发展对新技术的需求。为适应这一发展趋势,除培养更多的图书馆学毕业生外,还要积极鼓励现职图书馆员接受继续教育或培训。通讯技术特别是电讯技术的飞速发展,致使图书馆管理模式发生了空前的变化。图书馆管理,无论是分散独立的图书馆还是联合网络,变得越来越专业化,即由手工操作发展为计算机化系统。图书馆工作者认识到,他们原有的专业教育已不能适应这种变化,他们需要再学习,以掌握现代技术与技能;也就是说,他们必须首先克服专业上的障碍。同时,图书馆管理者也充分意识到,只有具备有竞争力的馆员队伍才能强化图书馆,才能有效地完成任务。
I. INTRODUCTION Taiwan’s library community generally believes that to meet the ever-increasing demands of users, on the one hand, it is necessary to continuously increase its collection and equipment; on the other hand, it must pay attention to the demand for new technologies in the development of the library industry. In order to adapt to this trend of development, in addition to cultivating more graduates of library science, active librarians should also be actively encouraged to undergo further education or training. The rapid development of communication technology, especially telecommunication technology, led to unprecedented changes in the mode of library management. Library management, whether it be decentralized independent libraries or joint networks, has become more specialized, from manual to computerized systems. Library workers recognize that their original professional education is no longer able to adapt to this change and that they need to learn again to master modern skills and skills; that is, they must first overcome their professional barriers. At the same time, librarians are also fully aware that only with a competitive librarian team can strengthen the library in order to effectively accomplish the task.
