陈洪武在:我的心目中,金伯兴是一位有历史担当的老一辈艺术家,他对当代书法,从创作到发展现状都十分关怀,他是以自己独特的审美和情怀来观照当代书法的。金伯兴的书法其实和他的为人一样:雄强、厚朴而又不失天真。他在传统的基调上吸纳了一种雄强的用笔方式,最具代表性的是其行书对联,简单的几个字,写得非常活泼,然而其中贯穿的是他的一种精神,他的人生阅历,他的笔墨追求,以及他对美的提炼和把握。我觉得这一点在他们那一代老书家中是很突出的。他不仅仅追摹雄强,也有雄秀的一面。他的魏碑书当中有一种柔美,我觉得他把江南的那种独特的韵姿,诗画般地揉到自己的书法当中了,因此别开生面。
