立式工频感应再加热炉的常用温度为1250~1350℃。再加热的工件进入该炉的温度为900℃,并要求在短时间内(10分钟左右)迅速再加热到1250~1350℃。感应圈与被加热工件之间的间隙约50毫米。由于感应圈的有机绝缘材料不能耐高温,所以设计要求在工件与感应圈之间应有一个耐火及隔热炉衬,其中最大尺寸约为ф460/ф500×1500毫米。当炉内再加热工件温度为1250~1350℃时,炉衬外型温度能低于一般绝缘材料老化温度,即180℃左右。
