山西省农垦所属太原和山阴农牧场,1975年从中国科学院遗传研究所先后引进食用多穗玉米亲本46个,进行了杂交组合。经过筛选,于1981年选出产草量高、质量好、品质优的“穗穗红220”和“多穗白131”青饲玉米。经十多个省、市的一百多个单位试种、示范,增产效果十分显著,1982年获农垦部和山西省政府科技成果三等奖。随后太原农牧场又与山西省农科院玉米遗传研究所协作育成产量高、质
