This article originally started with the publication of “Popularization of Today’s Collections,” which led to the well-known kiln of the Kugu Porcelain. “Geyao ” is the only one of the five famous kilns so far not found kiln porcelain, about the story behind it, even more intriguing. It is a mysterious and interesting topic in the history of Chinese ceramics, because there have always been many controversies in the kiln sites, so the offspring is often recorded in documentary records. Although the archaeological physical data related to Geyao have been increasing over the past decades, the conclusions drawn from these physical data often can not be matched with the description of the documents. Some of them are even diametrically opposed to each other. Therefore, the kilns of Geyao are still foggy. Perhaps one day all sorts of legends will eventually help us to find its true “production” place of origin, to be the millennium mystery
