应用电法探测堤坝隐患,比采用开挖或多孔钻探有明显的优越性。它可在较短的时间内迅速查明工程隐患的位置、范围、埋深及走向,为工程隐患的治理提供较准确的资料,它是一项比较经济而有效的技术措施。尤其对病险水库和堤防内部的一些常见隐患如:裂缝、洞穴、管涌、集中渗流以及基岩破碎带和岩溶裂隙带等,只要正确地掌握电法勘探的基本原理和方法,因地制宜地加以使用,就能够取得明显的探测效果。本文简述应用电法探测堤坝隐患的基本原理,着重介绍了电法勘探在湖南省堤坝隐患探测中的实际运用,并通过实例对其探测效果予以验证,以及对电法探测堤坝隐患的经济效益问题进行了评述。
