In the 1960s and 1970s, digital computer technology was introduced into industrial automation, which provided a functional replacement for some of the existing instruments and components at the time. But since this is a new technology, professional technicians work hard to learn how they work, which gives the result of a merger of control rooms and a dramatic reduction in the number of operators. From the beginning of the 1990s, more and more applications of automation technologies were being made to expand efficiency. So, technology leaders in the production department take the lead in exploring the application of higher-performing software technologies in automation systems. However, as a part of enterprise management, the visualization of performance improvement is not demanding, and a great reduction of engineering staff.
