民国十五年前后,归绥有蒙靴铺七大号归绥(呼和浩特旧称)生产蒙古靴,相传始于清代康熙年间。据蒙古靴老师傅郭良业(祖籍山西大同、义和社最后一任会首)、吴永祥透露,民国十五年(1926年)前后,归绥有蒙靴铺七大号。它们是坐落在旧城北门外太平街路东的永德魁、义生泰、长义永、兴盛永,小东街路西的元升永,东顺城街路北的泰和德,东马道巷路
