The call for the reform of Chinese painting can be traced back to the beginning of the last century. Every time it comes to social transformation, it will be mentioned. The frequent appearance of this state is often attributed to the ancient and ever-changing face of Chinese painting. Actually, we should be cautious about whether Chinese painting is outdated or not. Some creative traits of Chinese painting and certain traits contained in stylistic language are urgently needed to be taken seriously.
