石油与海水是物理属性不相同的两种液体,石油所形成的薄膜漂浮于海面上,使反射的阳光比海水大2~4倍;通过海气界面向大气输送的水汽减少,接近于零;海面风传递给海面的动力通量大为减少;大大阻碍了海水的蒸发和盐颗粒向大气中飞溅;阻碍海水对大气中O2和CO2气体的吸收;使上层海水吸收的太阳热量减少10%,从而影响到海气相互作财的每一个过程。石油污染对气候变异的影响今人十分担忧.如何减少海上石油开发业带来的石油污染,是科学家们亟待解决的问题。
