任何语言都有歧义,英语也不例外。本文将主要从交际效应的角度出发,把英语交际过程中出现的歧义现象分为蓄意歧义(intentionalambiguity)和无意歧义(unintentionalambiguity),并分别结合教学实践加以分析举例,以帮助学生从不同于主流教学的另外一个角度认识语言结构及其运用规律,了解语言各层面之间的微妙关系,掌握科学的学习方法,在教学和科研中积极地对其加以研究和利用。
Any language is ambiguous, and English is no exception. This article will mainly from the perspective of communicative effect, divide the ambiguity phenomenon in the process of English communication into intentional ambiguity and unintentional ambiguity, and combine the teaching practice to analyze and give examples to help students from different from mainstream teaching. Another perspective is to understand the language structure and its application laws, to understand the subtle relations between the various levels of the language, to master the scientific learning methods, and to actively study and use them in teaching and research.
