In general, American teenagers are bigspenders. They want to buy things the other kidshave: CDs of the latest songs, CD players, videos,video games, electronic gadgets, fashionableclothes, and even cars. A few parents agree to footthe bill, but others don't. Instead, they put theirfoot down and insist that the kids get a job. Afterall, that is the best way for them to learn how tostand on their own feet and learn the value ofmoney.
