阅读是一项复杂的动态心理活动和信息处理的过程,是一个语篇与阅读者已有知识结构或者未知领域相互作用的一个过程,是阅读者通过语篇与作者相互作用的交际行为。近年来,随着心理语言学和应用语言学的研究进一步发展,外语教学工作者和研究者们开始了对图式理论的研究,并且把图式理论与英语阅读教学实践联系起来。本文从图式理论的内涵、特点和模式方面来论述其在英语阅读中的作用,并试图得出一些英语阅读教学的启示。
Reading is a complex process of dynamic mental activity and information processing. It is a process of interaction between a text and an existing knowledge structure or unknown field of a reader. It is a communicative act in which a reader interacts with an author through a text. In recent years, with the further development of the study of psycholinguistics and applied linguistics, foreign language teaching workers and researchers started to study schema theory and linked schema theory with the practice of teaching English reading. This article discusses its function in English reading from the connotation, characteristic and mode of schema theory, and attempts to draw some enlightenment from reading teaching in English.
