From a teacher to the founder of I-SKY
Having been engaged in teaching for more than a decade, in 2002, Aira To, at the invitation of a friend, began to set foot in the property fi eld and created Kellett Properties Limited. For almost 4 years, she operated Kellett Properties Limited while at the same time was still committed to her education cause. It was never an easy job to do so. When the reporter asked her what difficulties she encountered in founding and running the company, she told the reporter that it was very hard to do the two jobs at the same time. She nearly had to handle all the things including accounting, purchasing, as well as legal aff airs and besides she never neglected her students. “Yes, very tired. But I never thought to give up. I learned a lot in those 4 years. But the most important thing for me was to hold on no matter how hard it was. Seeing I-SKY growing bigger and bigger, I could not describe that kind of happiness. And in 2006, I had to quit my teaching work since I found that I really had not enough time to take care of my students and I had to make a choice between the two causes I love.”
With her extraordinary courage and wisdom, Aira developed I-SKY Property to a diversifi ed I-SKY Group. T e Group’s core business is the development of property for sale and investment. As mentioned above, Aira started her business from property development. I-SKY Group endeavored to develop property business. Aira told the reporter, “at the beginning, we just conduct the basic property development. The customers were very satisfi ed with our project and thought the house we built were welldesigned and high quality. And some of them asked me whether we provide interior design and property management service and they would trust our service as same as our building. So it encouraged me to decide to start providing these services.” Now I-SKY could provide seamless comfort and convenience to residents. I-SKY Beauty standing out on professional service
In recent years, aesthetic medicine is increasingly popular and the aesthetic medicine centers have mushroomed overnight, intensifying the competition in the fi eld. However, I-SKY Beauty had won much trust of many customers over only one year since its establishment. Aira and Dr. Michael (Ren Zhenxiong is his Chinese name) both believed that I-SKY Beauty could not achieve all the success without providing professional service.
Dr. Michael graduated from the University of Newcastle in the UK in 1989, obtaining the bachelor degree for medicine and surgery. In 1990, he began to work for Mary Hospital after back to Hong Kong. And three years later, Michael went to the UK for further education, obtaining diploma for dermatology, and then opened his own dermatology clinic. 10 years ago, aesthetic medicine was not popular yet, but then Michael already set up Medicine and Phototherapy Beauty Center, which both engaged in aesthetic medicine and diagnosis& treatment for dermatology patients. And then in 2006, there was the birth of I-SKY Beauty with joint effort of Aira and Dr. Michael. Weathering through the financial tsunami, the number of customers did not fall but instead kept rising.
In order to enrich application experience, I-SKY Beauty led the industry to purchase laser instrument used for aesthetic medicine. On the other hand, Dr. Michael kept learning the newest aesthetic medicine knowledge from those famous aesthetic medicine centers in the US, South Korea and T ailand etc. and tried to learn more about the latest development of medical instrument and application by attending some aesthetic medicine related seminars in Hong Kong and foreign countries. I-SKY Beauty gradually took the leading position in the industry.

Aira told the reporter that at present at present the 2/3 of the customers were female and 1/3 were male and some were professionals such as doctors, layers, etc, and there are also housewives. “I feel happy to make people feel more confi dent by providing our service for them. T at’s also one reason for me to choose to set foot into this fi eld.”
“More blessed to give than to receive”
“T e bigger the company is, the more responsibilities it must shoulder.” Aira told the reporter.
I-SKY Group created many job opportunities and absorbed many professionals such as doctors, layers, architects, designers, aesthetic medicine practitioners etc. Besides, it also provided many job opportunities for construction workers. I-SKY Group also purchased large quantities of building materials, aesthetic medical products as well as instruments, which stimulated the development of retailing industry in Hong Kong and drove the economic development of Hong Kong.
