现代电影作为工业化的产物在20世纪左右传入中国,20至40年代是中国电影发展的一个高峰,期间电影理论呈现出蓬勃之势。现代中国电影理论发轫于对西方电影理论的引入和民族传统文艺理论的移植,在嬗变中经历了文化身份的“缺失一惶惑一焦虑”之过程。民族文化身份建构的表征在于现代中国电影理论中民族性问题的探索与确立。
As a product of industrialization, modern film came to China around the 20th century. From the 1920s to the 1940s, it was a peak for the development of Chinese films. During this period, film theory showed a flourishing trend. The development of modern Chinese film theory originated from the introduction of Western film theory and the transplantation of traditional Chinese literature and art theory. It has undergone the process of “lacking, apprehending and anxiety” of cultural identity in its transmutation. The construction of national cultural identity is characterized by the exploration and establishment of the nationality issue in the modern Chinese film theory.
