针对投射式汽车前照灯光源利用率不高的缺点及近光光型水平方向约±20°的照射范围要求,提出以变椭圆轮廓的方法设计投射式前照灯的反射器曲面,分析了椭圆轮廓曲线对投射式前照灯配光的影响,给出了椭圆曲线的轴长变化规律,通过计算拟合得到了光滑的变椭圆反射面。在光学软件Lucidshape中对该变椭圆反射面构成的投射式前照灯光学系统的模拟结果表明,采用该变椭圆反射面比复合椭球面的光源利用率提高了10%左右,光型水平方向照射范围在±20°以上,能满足近光光型“宽而不高”的特点。
