认知语义学的研究表明绝大多数习语是可以分析的,三种认知机制(隐喻、转喻和常识)在分析特定习语时不同程度在起作用。习语的这种可分析性对英汉习语词典的编纂有着积极的启示。本文提出的认知型英语习语词典基于此理论,建议所收条目按概念排列,这样会大大提高学习者习语的输入和输出能力,同时也是双语习语词典编纂上的创新。 Cognitive semantics research shows that most idioms can be analyzed, and the three cognitive mechanisms (metaphor, metonymy and common sense) play different roles in analyzing specific idioms. This analysis of idioms has a positive inspiration for the compilation of English-Chinese idioms. Based on this theory, the proposed English idiom dictionaries proposed in this paper suggest that the received entries should be arranged according to the concept, which will greatly improve learners’ ability to input and output idioms, as well as innovations in the compilation of bilingual idioms.
