翻译硕士(MTI)专业人才的术语能力培养与相关教材编写思考

在翻译专业教学理论与实践研究领域,翻译能力一直是很受研究者重视的关键词之一。翻译能力的准确界定以及其构成要素的合理解析关系到课程设置、教材编写以及教学评估等翻译专业人才培养过程中的诸多重要环节。这方面,以应用型、实用型和职业化为基本办学取向的翻译硕士(MTI)专业人才培养更是如此。然而,就翻译能力相关的教学理论与实践研究而言,翻译能力构成中非常重要的术语能力要素尚未得到充分重视。与译者翻译能力构成的其他要素相比,术语能力的培养在现有翻译硕士(MTI)专业教学中还比较薄弱,相关教材的编写与研究也非常缺乏。本文作者结合《术语翻译研究导引》教材编写的实践,尝试对旨在培养翻译硕士(MTI)专业人才术语能力的相关教材编写理念进行初步探讨。 In the field of translation teaching and theory of practice, translation ability has always been one of the key words that researchers value. The accurate definition of translation ability and the reasonable analysis of its constituent elements are related to many important aspects in the training of translation professionals, such as course setting, teaching material compilation and teaching evaluation. In this respect, the training of MTI professionals based on applied, practical and professional orientation is even more so. However, in the field of pedagogical theory and practice related to translation ability, the very important terminology and competence elements in the composition of translation ability have not been given enough attention. Compared with other elements of the translator’s translation ability, the cultivation of the terminology ability is still weak in the current MTI professional teaching, and the compilation and research of related textbooks are also scarce. Based on the practice of compiling the teaching materials of “Terminology Translation Studies”, the author attempts to make a preliminary study on the related textbook writing concepts aimed at developing MTI terminology skills.
