发现法是美国哈佛大学心理学教授,著名的心理学家、教育家布鲁纳(Jerome S.Bruner)提出的。他在《教育过程》一书中指出,学生在每门课程的学习中应该掌握该门课程的基本结构,也就是在学习中要弄清楚每门课程的基本概念、基本原理以及基本规则等。作为教师而言,则不能够仅仅通过简单地讲授向学生直接传达该门课程的基本概念、基本原理以及基本规则,而要通过一系列的课程活动设计指导学生对本门课程涉及的事件、问题等进行主动地探讨,由学生自己去发现问题、解决问题,进而总结出规律或得出结论。本文正是遵循发现法的原理,对大学英语阅读课堂设计进行实践,最终使学生在英语阅读水平上有明显提高。
The discovery method was proposed by Jerome S. Bruner, a professor of psychology at Harvard University and a famous psychologist and educator. In his book Educational Process, he pointed out that students should master the basic structure of the course in every course of study, that is, to understand the basic concepts, basic principles and basic rules of each course during the course of study. As a teacher, you can not simply teach the students to directly convey the basic concepts of the course, the basic principles and the basic rules, but through a series of curriculum design activities to guide students in the course of events, problems, etc. Take the initiative to explore by the students themselves to find problems and solve problems, and then sum up the law or draw conclusions. This article exactly follows the principle of the discovery law, carries on the practice to the university English reading class design, causes the student to improve obviously in the English reading level finally.
