The emergency braking distance of 120 km / h for goods trains is extended from 1400 m to 1600 m and the corresponding common braking distance is also extended in many aspects, including signal placement, train handling, wheel tread damage, impact on passing ability, etc. A very important technical issue. In this paper, firstly, the emergency braking distance and common braking distance under different conditions of 120 km / h freight trains are checked, the length of the blocking partition is determined according to the braking distance, and the tracing interval is determined according to the length of the blocking partition. Determine the impact of an extended emergency braking distance on the tracking interval. At the same time, traction calculation is also used to determine the emergency stop distance before and after the extension of the train parking additional hours, calculate the impact of extended parking on the passing capacity. Considering that the emergency braking distance of 120 km / h freight trains is widened to 1600 m, the calculated length of blocking zones needs to be increased by 70 m, which has an important impact on the layout of the new line signalrs. If the existing lines do not meet the requirements and speed limits are required, . At the same time, the emergency braking distance of the cargo trains at the initial speed of 90 km / h is over 800 m. The braking rates of new and existing trucks are inconsistent. When the new and old cars are mixed, the train longitudinal impulse will be aggravated. Therefore, it is suggested that the revision of “Railway Technical Management Regulations” should be carefully revised.
