任务型教学具有交际性,强调过程性,能让学习者超越语言形式进入到反映真实生活的语境。因此,在高职酒店英语教学中运用任务型教学法具有如下优势:让学生了解酒店英语的特有规律,帮助学生从体验中学习,提高学生解决酒店服务工作问题的能力;采用具有实践性的主题教学,体现了以学习者为中心的理念;教学模式还可以进行细化;在酒店情景下进行英语听说学习和运用的特点,实现了教学形式与内容的高度统一。
