聚合物促使稳定的胆甾相织构(Polymer_stabilizedcholesterictexture简称PSCT)光阀是用胆甾相液晶/聚合物构成的,在偏压下呈现双稳态,并可用来制作无源矩阵多稳态显示器。通过调节胆甾相液晶的螺矩、聚合物的浓度和聚合反应条件,我们能使PSCT光阀性能最优化。我们还研究了在各种不同温度下PSCT光阀的性能,已经利用PSCT液晶材料成功地研制出高亮度、高对比度的投影显示器
Polymer-stabilized stabilized cholesteric (PSCT) light valves are made of cholesteric liquid crystals / polymers that exhibit bistability at bias and can be used to make passive matrix multi-stable displays. By adjusting the pitch of the cholesteric liquid crystal, the concentration of the polymer and the polymerization conditions, we can optimize the performance of the PSCT light valve. We have also studied the performance of PSCT light valves at various temperatures and have successfully developed high brightness, high contrast projection displays using PSCT liquid crystal materials
