20世纪20~30年代,寓居上海的知识分子促进了沪上咖啡馆消费文化的勃兴。咖啡馆不仅是文艺创作的前背景(foreground),甚至还在某种意义上建构了知识分子的审美现代性及家国认同感。将知识分子对上海咖啡馆的情感放置到人文地理学背景中去考量,可知这场群体性文化现象的滥觞成因及深层意涵,而且,面对作为“地点”的咖啡馆,知识分子从“在地”到“恋地”的心理路径也得以彰显。
In the 1920s and 1930s, intellectuals living in Shanghai promoted the booming consumption culture in cafes in Shanghai. Cafes are not only the foreground of literary and artistic creation, but also construct the aesthetic modernity and the sense of family identity of intellectuals in some sense. Putting intellectuals’ emotions in Shanghai cafe into consideration in the context of human geography, we can see the origins and the deep meaning of this group culture phenomenon.
