According to the U.S. Army’s technology website, Raytheon and the U.S. Army jointly completed the compatibility testing of the final phase of an accurately guided Sword Missile on the PzH2000 self-propelled German gun, marking the completion of a multi-phase assessment. Test During the Yuma test site, the PzH2000 fired 10 rounds of Sword Missiles at targets within the range of 9 to 48 km and all projectiles hit the target 3 m diameter range. Field demonstration of launch support, funded by the United States and Germany and supported by Raytheon’s initial pilot funding, also verified the ability of the missile to control trajectory trajectories to offset targets.
