邵洵美从事写作近四十年,他使用的笔名化名达二十多个,用得最多的是“郭明”。他最早用“郭明”发表的文章是《从部长到小姐》,刊于一九三二年《时代画报》第二卷第十期,是一篇带有讽刺性的人物描写,讽刺的对象包括蒋介石等人。而后,他用“郭明”发表的大都是时评政论,如第一篇呼吁抗日的《容忍的罪恶》就于一九三二年初刊于《时代画报》第二卷第十期。除刊在《时代画报》,还有刊在《十日谈》旬刊、《人言周刊》的。特别在一九三三年至一九三五年间, Shao 洵 Mi engaged in writing for nearly four decades, he used more than twenty pseudonyms, the most used is “Guo Ming ”.
