中国寡母文学形象的意象原型,来自于遥远的过去。这是我们的祖先重复的无数次的欢乐和悲哀,留下的“一块碎片”。在后来的文学著作中不断的演绎,比如《红楼梦》、《补天》、《女神》等。而这“一块碎片”—补天女娲意象,成为后来中国其他文学作品中寡母形象的来源,一代代的演绎,至于后来形成了一部分寡母文学形象,即弗莱强调的文化原型,带有扭曲变态的情节。也许是历史开的玩笑,中国的原始原型到文化原型的变迁,却让读者看到的愈带有“寡母情节”的形象。
