不同于传统上升型成长道路,《残龙笔记》的主人公的主体成长表现出萎缩、甚至后退的倾向,如主人公所认同的“我是一条虫”的成长宣言那样,表现出反成长的倾向。反成长虽然另类,却也是成长的一种。主人公小雨在成长过程中,由于“想象的父亲”之爱的缺乏,而导致主体向“父亲之名”成长过渡的受阻。小雨的自我不断逃逸,从现实到网络,再从网络到梦境,只为寻找自我的镜像(理想自我)。小雨的镜像自我(理想自我)通过恋爱对象而建构,又因恋爱对象的失去而丧失,因此自我面临崩溃的险境,形成现实生活中失语的表征,由此,读者只能通过作者的第三人叙述来间接进入小雨的潜意识,捕捉他梦的呓语,寻求自我救赎之路。

Therefore, the reader can only pass the author’s third Man narrative to indirectly enter the subconscious of light rain, capture the dream of his dreams, seeking self-salvation.
