高速列车下线运行对铁路企业来说,能够吸引客流量,带来较高的运营收入,但同时增加了高速动车组购置、运营、维修等成本;对旅客来说,在节约旅行时间,得到优质服务的同时,还必须承担高速运价。跨线高速列车的下线开行范围一方面取决于旅客的承受能力,另一方面取决于铁路系统企业经营方式。在理论上,高速列车存在一个合理的开行范围,即在既有线上的运行距离存在一个极限值,使得企业的投入和产出合理,从而达到经济效益最大化。同时,也需要从旅客角度分析经济距离的合理范围或取值。通过建立通用数学模型,从旅客角度给出算例,从而为高速列车下线运行相关问题研究提供参考。
