2002年9~12月,为配合(武)汉十(堰)高速公路建设,湖北省文物考古研究所组织全省力量对枣阳市九连墩一号墩(俗名“鹰子包”)进行了勘探发掘,清理竖穴土坑墓2座(分别编号M1、M2)及各自祔葬车马坑2座(对应编号CHMK1、CHMK2),出土了大量随葬器物。经研究,该墓区为一处大型的夫妻异穴合葬墓地,墓主人为战国中期的楚国高级贵族[1]。2003年上半年,考古人员在对两座墓葬的随葬器物进行整理的过程中发现了多段漆绘木条,经拼对,确认为5件弩臂,且正好与所出铜弩机数
