对工业用高速钢(W18Cr4V)钻头采用空心阴极离子镀(0.4Pa氮分压下)和多弧离子镀(在0.4Pa,0.1Pa,0.05Pa氮分压下)的TiN镀层进行了研究。比较了不同氮分压下镀层色泽、显微硬度;用扫描电镜观察表面形貌象及截面象并测定层厚;应用划痕法测定镀层结合强度。实验结果表明离子镀层显微硬度比基体提高2~4倍;不同方法及不同氮分压的镀层表面形貌不同,多弧离子镀层有5~10μm颗粒。截面象中镀层呈层状,镀层结合强度随氮分压升高而增加。
Industrial high speed steel (W18Cr4V) drill using hollow cathode ion plating (0.4Pa partial pressure of nitrogen) and multi-arc ion plating (0.4Pa, 0.1Pa, 0.05Pa partial pressure of nitrogen) TiN coating Study. The color and microhardness of the coatings were compared under different nitrogen partial pressures. The surface topography and cross-sectional images were observed with scanning electron microscopy and the layer thickness was measured. The adhesion strength of the coating was measured by the scratch test. The experimental results show that the microhardness of the ion plating is increased by 2 ~ 4 times than that of the matrix. The surface morphology of the coatings is different with different methods and with different nitrogen partial pressures. The multi-arc ion plating has 5 ~ 10μm particles. The cross-section of the coating is layered, coating bonding strength increases with increasing nitrogen partial pressure.
