目的探讨存活素(survivin)和人端粒酶逆转录酶(hTERT)蛋白在脑胶质瘤的表达情况及其与肿瘤恶性程度之间的相互关系。方法应用免疫组织化学方法检测72例脑胶质瘤标本Survivin及hTERT蛋白的表达强度、阳性细胞百分比及其与胶质瘤组织学分级之间的关系。结果Survivin及hTERT蛋白表达阳性染色主要位于脑胶质瘤细胞的胞浆或胞核,并与脑胶质瘤的组织学分级相关,各级之间有显著性差异(P<0.05),随着脑胶质瘤恶性程度增高,Survivin与hTERT的表达强度和阳性细胞百分比也随之逐渐增加,且两者表达呈正相关(r=0.444,P<0.01)。结论Survivin和hTERT蛋白在脑胶质瘤呈过度表达,并与脑胶质瘤的恶性程度密切相关,两者的激活在胶质瘤的发生发展过程中可能起协同作用。
Objective To investigate the expression of survivin and human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) protein in gliomas and its relationship with the degree of tumor malignancy. Methods The expression of Survivin and hTERT protein, the percentage of positive cells in 72 cases of gliomas and their relationship with histological grading of glioma were detected by immunohistochemistry. Results The positive staining of Survivin and hTERT protein was mainly located in the cytoplasm or nucleus of glioma cells and was associated with the histological grade of glioma, with significant difference (P <0.05) Glioma increased the degree of malignancy, Survivin and hTERT expression intensity and the percentage of positive cells also increased gradually, and the two was positively correlated (r = 0.444, P <0.01). Conclusions Survivin and hTERT proteins are overexpressed in gliomas and are closely related to the malignant degree of glioma. The activation of both may play a synergistic role in the development and progression of glioma.
