赫洛尔特是早期梅森窑瓷器“中国风情”装饰画的首倡者。在梅森瓷器对中国瓷器装饰风格的借鉴过程中,尤以装饰性的人物画在造型、用色和明暗等方面变化显著,其反映了欧洲早期的瓷器从对中国瓷器装饰画题材和构成要素的借鉴。本文从造型和图式的表现特点入手,对赫洛尔特的装饰观及早期梅森瓷器的“中国风情”装饰人物画进行分析。认为在赫洛尔特的影响下,梅森瓷器上的中国人物装饰画不但经历了明暗立体化和程式化转变过程,并向欧洲瓷器装饰画中引入了一种混合图式。这种变化不只是“中国风情”走向“欧化”的表现,也反映了梅森窑早期瓷器装饰中出现的“借景”现象。
