Objective: To study the long-term toxic effects of semi-sulfur pills. Methods: The half lethal dose (LD50) of semi-sulfur pills was measured by pre-experiment. Rats were given an injection of LD50 of 1/10, 1/50, 1/100 for 3 months once a day. RESULTS: There was no significant difference in the blood routine and renal function between the semi-sulfur pellets in the large, medium, and low dose groups compared with the normal control group; the heart, brain, kidney, and thyroid pathology sections were normal; the liver function in the high-dose group was compared with the normal group. There were significant differences in liver damage and obvious damage. Medium and small doses were normal. Conclusion: The toxicity of half-sulfured pills increases with the increase of dose, and the toxicity also shows an increasing trend; the main target organ for drug toxicity is in the liver.
