“Children of Arbat Street” is a novel written over thirty years before and after the Soviet writer Anatoly Rybakov. As early as the late 1940s and early 1950s, the author began to prepare materials for the creation of this novel. However, his “real chance” of realizing the creative idea was after the twentieth Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, but strictly speaking, the real beginning of his creation was still in the late 1950s. In 1966, after completing the first part of the novel, Trwoldoffski, editor of New World magazine, praised him for making a preview of the publication immediately. However, he failed to fulfill his promise. In 1978, “October” magazine again promulgated in 1979, but also did not materialize.
