从1949年之前编纂的某些家谱中,我们可以对长期以来被忽视的底层文人的文学创作和批评获得一定认识,从而还原出更为全面、立体的古代文学生态系统。底层文人对待文学写作和批评,既有和精英文人一致的地方,即写作态度很认真,写作精神很投入,对作家和作品的批评内容也非常接近;同时又有着鲜明的区别:底层文人写作在粗粝和稚嫩中表现出更多的自然和真诚,他们更惯于从现实生活、现实经验出发去理解作品的情趣和意旨。这虽然不是文学创作及批评的最佳状态,但对促进文学创作与批评的健康发展有着重要意义和启示。尤其对于纠正文学创作中的矫揉造作和文学批评中的故弄玄虚,无异于一剂苦口良药。底层文人崇尚经典又偏好通俗的阅读行为,对于我们认识并构建当前的大众阅读亦有启示意义。
From some of the genealogies compiled before 1949, we can gain a certain understanding of the literary creation and criticism of the historically neglected underground literary people, so as to restore a more comprehensive and three-dimensional ancient literary ecosystem. The literary writers and critics at the lower levels treat both literary writing and criticism as having the same place as the elite literary men. That is, writing attitudes are serious, writing spirit is very much involved, and critics of writers and works are also very close. At the same time, there are sharp differences: They show more naturalness and sincerity in their crudeness and immaculateness, and they are more accustomed to understanding the taste and purpose of the work from real life and realistic experience. Although this is not the best state of literary creation and criticism, it is of great significance and enlightenment for the healthy development of literary creation and criticism. In particular, it is tantamount to a bitter and painful medicine to correct the pretentious literary creation and literary criticism. The literati at the bottom advocate classics and prefer popular reading behavior, which also has enlightenment for us to recognize and construct the current mass reading.
