赴日本举办个展前,在《朝日新闻》副主编饭冢征毅主持下,我与被认为是木村伊兵卫继承人的著名日本摄影家北井一夫在北京进行过一次对谈。谈话中北井先生表示羡慕中国的摄影环境、钦佩中国摄影家深入生活的创作态度。说他现在面对高度现代化的日本社会,感到茫然,不知拍什么,不知如何保持自己原有的社会纪实摄影特点,走同以前一样的摄影道路。对谈前我已看过北井先 Before I went to Japan to hold a solo exhibition, under the chairmanship of Irisa Iizuka, deputy chief editor of Asahi Shimbun, I held a talk in Beijing with well-known Japanese photographer Kita Iifu who is considered as heir to Kimura Iimori. During his conversation, Mr. Kitai expressed his envy of China’s photographic environment and admiration for the creative attitude of Chinese photographers in their in-depth living. Said he is now at a loss in the face of a highly modern Japanese society.
