It was beyond my expectation that a small-scale discussion in Chifeng could arouse everyone’s interest. Under the background of exam-oriented education, quite a number of schools, especially high schools, are no longer schools but factories; students are not students but tools; teachers are not teachers but craftsmen. Asking a craftsman to think and innovate seems to be a kind of demand. Fortunately, China has a large population base, and there are people in 10,000 who are thinking about things. Then the warehouse of ideas will not be empty. It is sad and regretful that it is difficult for the originally impoverished educational ideas not to be widely disseminated and not translated into the actions of thousands of teachers. In fact, we organized this discussion to do a little bit of spreading work. To throw a small stone into the lake of silence, there is a little ripple on it and we dare not expect anything. I am extremely grateful to those friends who are still concerned about Chinese language education in the impetuous environment.
