当汤金/祖莱卡/格雷尔建筑师事务所与JMD设计事务所接到将帕丁顿水库改造成为一座城市公园的委托时,人们普遍认为,水库将会被覆盖起来,进而地面上会出现一个崭新的布局。然而,这座19世纪的构筑物最后作为废墟被展示了出来,人们可以周游在历史上遗留下来的墙壁和拱门之间,享受这里丰富的戏剧空间和光影变化。
When Tomkin / Zuileka / Guerell Architects and JMD Architects commissioned the transformation of the Paddington Reservoir into a city park, it was generally agreed that the reservoir would be covered and the ground would appear A brand new layout. However, the 19th-century structure was eventually shown as a ruin, where people could travel between the walls and arches left over from history, enjoying the rich theater space and lighting changes.
