福建省港口资源丰富,拥有众多深水港湾,可建设大型散货码头的岸线资源为全国之最。但由于省内铁矿石需求量不大,且后方铁路集疏运系统不完善,目前福建省还没有专业化的矿石泊位矿石运输主要由福州港、湄洲湾港以及厦门港的通用泊位完成。2012年福建沿海港口共完成铁矿石吞吐量2115万t,主要供应福建省内钢厂,其余则主要通过鹰厦、赣龙等铁路供应江西省钢厂及通过水水中转供应长江沿线钢厂。
Fujian Province is rich in resources and has many deep-water ports. The shoreline resources for building large-scale bulk wharfs are the highest in the country. However, due to the lack of demand for iron ore in the province and the incomplete collection and distribution system in the rear railway, there is no special ore berth ore transportation in Fujian Province which is mainly completed by the berths of Fuzhou Port, Meizhou Bay Port and Xiamen Port . In 2012, Fujian’s coastal ports completed a total iron ore throughput of 21.15 million tons, mainly supplying steel mills in Fujian Province. The rest were mainly supplied to steel mills in Jiangxi Province through railways such as Yingxia and Ganlong, as well as steel mills along the Yangtze River through water and water transfer .
