Using body measurement and Reynolds’ IQ (IQ), 200 cases of primary and secondary school students infected with roundworms and non-infected roundworms were investigated in the rural areas of Zhejiang Province. Infected students deworming twice a year for three years after the review. The results showed that the average value of each index such as height, weight, furrow thickness and hemoglobin of the students before deworming infection was lower than that of the non-infected control group. The average IQ of the patients in the group also lagged behind that of the control group, with statistical differences significance. After deworming each measurement index increased significantly, the average of each rise compared with the control group, the difference was not statistically significant. Show that long-term intestinal Ascaris infection has a more significant impact on the healthy development of children.
