真空离子渗碳是在70年代发展起来的一种渗碳新工艺。日本、美国、法国、西德等国家都进行了研究,并且,日本已有真空离子渗碳商品炉出售。实现真空离子渗碳的方式和过程有多种。我们是把渗碳零件在低压(或称真空)下加热,在达到渗碳温度后向炉中通入少量渗碳气体,借助于在阴极(零件)和阳极之间所施加的数百伏直流高压,使渗碳气体电离,产生辉光放电以达到渗碳目的。真空离子渗碳具有真空渗碳和离子轰击热处理所具有的一系列优点,如渗碳质量高、渗碳时间短、工艺参数容易控制、省能、无公害等。值得指出的是,它在处理带有细长孔,窄槽等复杂形状零件时,较其他渗碳方法更具有明显的优点。目前,这种工艺及设备还处于发展阶段,,仍需要进一步完善,所以在批量生产中应用得还不多。从1978年8月我们开始真空离子渗碳
Vacuum ion carburizing is a new carburizing process developed in the 1970s. Japan, the United States, France, West Germany and other countries have carried out studies, and, Japan has been selling vacuum ion carburizing furnace. There are many ways and processes to achieve vacuum ion carburization. Vacuum ion carburization with vacuum carburizing and ion bombardment heat treatment has a series of advantages, such as high quality carburizing, carburizing time is short, easy to control the process parameters, energy saving, pollution-free and so on. It is worth pointing out that it has obvious advantages over other carburizing methods when dealing with complex shaped parts with elongated holes and narrow slots. At present, this process and equipment are still in the development stage, still need to be further improved, so the application is not much in mass production.
