报刊阅览室是图书馆的主要业务部门之一,如何做好阅览室的管理与服务工作,对于充分发挥图书馆传播知识的职能具有重要的意义。作为报刊阅览室的一名工作人员,其主要工作职责有两个方面:一是做好报刊杂志及阅览室的整理、管理工作;二是为读者提供好阅览、咨询服务工作。如果管理不规范,服务不到位,就会影响到报刊阅览工作质量,有损于阅览室乃至图书馆在读者心目中的形象。因此,加强报刊阅览室的科学管理,不断提高服务质量,满足读者日益增长的需求,是每一个从事报刊阅览的具体工作人员需认真探讨与研究的问题。
Newspaper reading room is one of the main business departments of the library. How to do well the management and service of the reading room is of great significance to give full play to the function of library spreading knowledge. As a newspaper reading room staff, its main job responsibilities are twofold: First, do newspapers and magazines and reading room finishing, management work; second is to provide readers with reading, consulting services. If the management is not standardized, the service is not in place, it will affect the quality of newspaper reading work, detrimental to the reading room and library in the minds of readers in the image. Therefore, strengthening the scientific management of newspapers and periodical reading rooms, continuously improving the service quality and meeting the increasing needs of readers is a problem that every staff member who engages in the reading of newspapers and periodicals needs to seriously discuss and study.
