我国基础教育课程改革在不断推进,新的地理课程改革已进入实验阶段。地理教学评价改革是课程改革的重要组成。“评价的目的不是为了证明,而是为了改进”。地理教学评价应有利于促进每个学生自身的发展,应有利于“满足不同学生地理学习需要”。传统的地理教学评价模式存在诸多弊端,甚至成为教学改革的羁绊。后现代主义“强调教学评价应注重对象的丰富性、多样性,体现差异的平等”。运用后现代主义评价理论,指导地理教学评价改革实践,具有重要意义。
