伸缩缝是桥梁构造中的重要组成部分。在气温变化、混凝土收缩、活载作用、桥梁墩台的沉降及徐变等因素影响下,桥跨结构会产生变形,从而使梁端产生位移。为适用这种位移并保持桥上行驶车辆的平顺性,必须在桥面的两端之间以及梁端与桥台背墙之间设置横向伸缩缝。桥梁伸缩缝一旦损坏,就会导致跳车、噪音、漏水、影响行车安全及缩短桥梁使用寿命。
The expansion joint is an important part of the bridge structure. Under the influence of temperature changes, shrinkage of concrete, live load, settlement and creep of bridges and abutments, the bridge span structure will be deformed and displacement will occur at the beam ends. In order to apply this displacement and maintain the smooth ride on the bridge, a transverse expansion joint must be provided between the two ends of the deck and between the beam end and the abutment back wall. Once the expansion joints of the bridge are damaged, they will cause jumping, noise, water leakage, traffic safety and shortening the service life of the bridge.
