This year marks the 5th anniversary of the official establishment of Beijing office of ELEV Architects. Today, I and my design team conducted repeated discussions and researches on the design of the four small projects in progress. I discussed the project progress and cost with Party A or WeChat of the three projects respectively, and the construction workers spent 3 hours discussing how to implement several challenging designs, discussing the characteristics of 4 materials with several material suppliers, and renderings The company discussed the direction of 2 renderings, and assistant and accounting negotiated 5 companies Operations and financial issues. Now that the sky is dark, because I started preparing articles for the UED Young Architects album, I could finally sit in front of my computer quietly and take this opportunity to recall my five years of experience. Eleven years ago, at the second semester of Yale, Tom Beeby, former Dean of Yale School of Architecture, and my then-teacher, told me at the end of the semester that he was curious and what made me happen This unique design thinking. He thought it was a very interesting state. If you must let him give me suggestions, he suggested that I may be able to pay attention to the theory. But he hesitated, unsure whether this would be beneficial or harmful to my creation. I am a very lucky person. My growth process encountered many have their own unique side of the predecessors or peers. They all gave me great help and encouragement. They affect me in various ways. But it seems that I always seem to be gaining something that I am interested in or understandable, using my own way to reorganize the pieces of knowledge. I
